THREE MEMBER TEAM RUN FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS AT 3 KM

5. CATEGORIES
  • M1 - pupils born 2010 and younger (boys)
  • Z1 - pupils born 2010 and younger (girls)
  • MZ1 - mixed triples (by gender)
6. TENTATIVE PLAN
  • M1 - pupils born 2010 and younger (boys) at 8.55
  • Z1 - pupils born 2010 and younger (girls) at 8.55
  • MZ1 - mixed triples (by gender) at 8.55
7. PARTICIPATION

All pupils that attend elementary schools have the right to race in three member team run.

8. TRANSFER

There will be organized transfer (with the Ljubljana bus transport) to the Primary school Oskar Kovačič (Osnovna šola Oskar Kovačič) for 3 km long race of three member team run. Departure of the last bus will be at 7.45 from bus stop at Drama, at Slovenska cesta.

9. GENERAL RULES AND CONDITIONS

  • Standard rules and conditions of WA (World athletics), AZS (Athletic Federation of Slovenia) and this call shall apply.
  • The trio team must run the whole course (from start to finish) together. Help can be provided only by and only to members of the SAME trio team. Incomplete trio teams will be disqualified.
  • Schools recover the expenses of participation themselves. The organization costs are covered by the Municipality of Ljubljana.
  • You can pick up your race numbers and the chips on Thursday 7th and Friday 8th May from 13.00 to 19.00 and on Saturday 6th May between 7.00 and 7.45 at the Trg republike.
  • The competitors will be able to leave the clothes in sacks, which will be transported to the wardrobe place at the Trg republike. The organizer does not take the responsibility for the clothes left in the wardrobes.
  • Start is near Primary school Oskar Kovačič (Ob dolenjski železnici 48). Finish is at Kongresni trg.
  • Proclamation and awards to the first three teams will be held immediately on arrival at Kongresni trg. All teams will receive a commemorative T-shirts of “Pot ob žici”.
  • Unofficial results will be posted on the notice board at Kongresni trg square. Official results will be available immediately after the contest on our website.
  • The Complaints Commission will be open on the day of the competition at the Kongresni trg square between 9.30 AM and 1.00 PM. The Complaints Commission will accept written complaints only, with the deposit of 40 EUR which will be withheld in case the appeal is rejected. A written complaint must be filed within 30 minutes of the official publication of the results. All decision of the Appeal Committee are final and not subject to further appeal or review.
